Popcorn

Today we popped popcorn over the stove in one of those jiffy pop pans that blow up as it pops. Pretty cool.

The kids ran behind the counter and hid yelling, "It's going to explode!!!!"Wyatt even dragged Lily in her high chair away.

While eating it, Wyatt said, "Mom, you're the best cook." I just thanked him.

While eating it, Colton's mind started turning. He said, "Mom, if bullies come here and they punch you...  I'll throw popcorn at them." I just thanked him.

We stayed with my mom and dad in between homes and we had such a great time! It was so nice, we almost didn't want to leave! :) We'll never forget the time we spent at grandma and grandpa's house. We love them and are grateful for their patience and generosity. For several weeks, Colton begged to go back. He'd yell, "Get me outta this place!! I want to go back to grandma and grandpa's house!'  He called grandma once while we were filling up with gas. He told her, "Grandma, I'm at the gas station. Can you come pick me up?"

Adjusting

Six weeks!! We've been a "family of five" for 6 weeks now, and we're loving [almost] every minute!  Our sweet little sis is adored by her big brothers (Yes! Still!!!) Wyatt started kindergarten and Colton started Joy school within a week or two when our new little addition came. So, I feel like we are barely making it out of bed to drop off, pick up, drop off, pick up all day - and bounce and nurse and bounce Lily the whole day. But she is starting to fuss less, sleep more, and we're really beginning to get the hang of it all. Phew! Here are some fun pictures from the last 6 weeks...

Wyatt loves this little girl. Friends/strangers can't even look at her without first dealing with him.

Colton's class went to the Fire Station on their first field trip. We had a great time!!

As Colton has become more interested in Lily, he has also become more affectionate and sweet with her. We sure lucked out!

Wyatt put together a film for the "Reflections" contest at school.  Colton was the bad guy who kidnapped the princess.

Lily decided the middle of the night was her time. We went quickly to the hospital, and she came quickly after!

Our boys loved visiting us at the hospital. Tyson brought them several times. They made themselves right at home on my bed, drank sprite, and watched TV.   :)

Lily came home Saturday September 1st. Oh, man. Isn't she sweet??

The boys have LOVED having her around.

They want to hold her and help out all day long!
