Happy Birthday, Wyatt!

FIVE!!
Wyatt turned 5 this week, and we had a blast celebrating his fifth birthday! We had a pirate party with some of his bestest friends.

There are so many fun pictures. Here are just some of my favorites.....

Stockton is the sweetest, least scavenging gangrenous pirate in town. He's so cute!

That there is just a handsome man!

Our wild one.

These are 2 of the cutest peas in the sweetest pod. They get along so well.

Aarg, Matey!! Wy wants to marry Pirate Kate.

Yumm!

Wyatt got so many fun presents! This one definitely had the most time & love put into it. Yes, it's a s0 so soft, totally cute, super sweet, SUPER HERO quilt! Thanks, Aunt Lizzie. Like Wyatt said, "It's sure been a good day!"

Some wonderful things about Wyatt, as he turns 5:

Wyatt is always thinking about other people. When he goes in to the doctor without little brother, he'll pick out a sticker to bring home for Colton. He sees things at the store and says, "Dad would like that!" If he really loves you, he'll start telling you all the things he wants to get you for your birthday.

Wyatt has more sympathy than anyone I know. When Colton gets in trouble, Wyatt will usually try and make excuses for him or he'll scold mom & dad and tell them to "Be nice to Colton!!!" If you are sick, he treats you like royalty - no matter who you are! He remembers when someone is ill, and he'll check back up on them later. He'll run into someone at the store with a cast, ask what happened, get their entire story, and as we part he hollers, "Sorry about your bones!!"

Wy is super creative. He can create amazing stories, build amazing robots with awesome abilities, & act like he is anything or anyone - and make it pretty convincing! He loves to pretend. His conversations with Colton or friends typically sounds like this, "Then 'tend I turned into a super hero, and 'tend you were the bad guy. And 'tend you said [blah blah blah] and then I said [blah blah]. Ya. And 'tend this was a cliff and we almost fell off....." It's so fun to hear.

Wyatt is a really good reader, he's learning so much. We are proud. And we are glad he came to our home, the last 5 years have been awesome. Love you, Wyatt.
